Amelia Rizzo

An aspiring designer studying Theatre Design at Nottingham Trent University, class of 2020

My love for the arts has been constant throughout my life and I find myself thriving in situations where I get the chance to be creative. My passion for art and drama evolved when completing a level drama and art and has continued throughout my years at University.

Completing various placement throughout the years such as Stage Management at Nottingham Playhouse, assisting in Streetwise Opera workshops and designing my own set for New College Nottingham, these have all benefited me hugely and developed my knowledge to bring into the future, having a wide range of knowledge in the theatre industry will provide me with skills I will take future into my career.

I am inspired by a vast range of designers and performers and try to expand my breadth of knowledge as much as I can. I look forward to all opportunities that allow me to learn new skills and techniques to further my knowledge of design and making, whether it be through making something myself or being inspired by another designer or artists' work.
