Based on the book 'Soonchild', a current devised piece, designed and performed by Year 2 NTU students.

Based in "The North" lived a shaman known as Sixteen-Face John, who fears he's losing his way in the modern world.

In order to help Soonchild be born, John is forced to go on a 'Big Dream Trip' to find the World Songs.
During John's journey, he encounters many strange thing who help but also hinder his quest, such as Nanuq the giant
polar bear, Ukpika the owl-woman, Yarluk the killer whale and the spirit of his great grandmother who was also a shaman.
